COURSE ELIGIBILITY
B.A. Part I Passed Senior Secondary Examination or an Equivalent examination with corre sponding Subjects or is placed under compartment in one subject only of the Senior Secondary examination, provided she gets 33% marks in the aggregate, from the following four including the marks obtained in the Compartment subject, provided the Candidate obtains at least 20% marks in the subject of compartment, in theory and practical combined. Mathematics can be taken by a student who has passed it at the 10+2 level or has been placed under compartment in this subject. However she shall have to clear it in the Supplementary examination, failing which her admission shall stand cancelled.
B.A. Part II
and
B.A. Part III		 Passed B.A Part-I/B.A.II Examination on an equivalent examination with corresponding subjects or is placed in Compartment of the Punjab University
SUBJECTS
Compulsory:
Environment Education Punjabi, English
Elective:
Student can take up three subjects in all, selecting not more one subject from any
Three Groups:-
Group I:- Elective Punjabi, Elective Hindi, Elective English
Group II:- Math, History
Group III:- Economics, Sociology
Group IV:- Political Science, Computer Science, Physical Education
                           Same as Offered in B.A. Part I/B.A. Part II respectively.
NOTE: Students of B.A. II, B.A. III could also opt for Pbi (Hons) as an Additional subject.
